Tekizone 1mg/500mg Tablet is a prescription medicine. It is advised to take it as per the prescription. It can be taken with or without food, but it must be taken at a fixed time to ensure better efficacy. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as this may have harmful effects on your body. Tekizone 1mg/500mg Tablet is an antibiotic medicine and is used to treat certain bacterial infections such as meningitis (infection of the brain), pneumonia (infection of the lungs), gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease), pelvic inflammatory disease (infection of the female reproductive organs that may cause infertility) and infections of ear, abdomen, urinary tract, skin, bones and joints. Tekizone 1mg/500mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ceftriaxone and Sulbactam. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria.
