Tipanat 8.19mg/20mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines that treat cancer of the colon and rectum that has spread to other parts of the body (metastasized). It works by stopping or slowing down the growth of cancer cells.
Tipanat 8.19mg/20mg Tablet should be taken with food, but try to have it at the same time every day to get the most benefit. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

Quick tips
- Avoid the use of antacids within two hours of taking this medicine.
- Drink plenty of water every 24 hours after the start of the treatment.
- You may be at risk of infection so try to avoid crowds or people with colds, and report fever or any other signs of infection immediately to your doctor.
