Product introduction

Treoall Injection is used in the treatment of blood cancer. It is used in combination with another cancer medicine called fludarabine in adults and children as young as one month of age with blood cancers as well as in adults requiring a bone marrow transplant.

Treoall Injection is given as an injection into veins by the healthcare provider. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits. The dose and duration of treatment will be decided by your doctor.

The most common side effects of this medicine include infections, weakness, bleeding, difficulty in breathing, nausea, hair loss, and discoloration of the skin. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them.

Inform your doctor if you have a medical history of bleeding disorders, heart or liver disease, radiation treatment or any infection. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using.  Inform your doctor immediately if you notice unusual bruising or bleeding or if you have dark, tarry, or bloody stools and sore throat.

This medicine is known to reduce the number of blood cells in your blood thereby, increasing the susceptibility to infections. Regular blood tests are required to check your blood cells along with kidney, liver and heart function during treatment with this medicine. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.

Uses of Treoall Injection

Benefits of Treoall Injection

In Blood cancer

Blood cancer, also called leukemia, is a cancer of the blood-forming tissues that decreases the body's ability to fight infection. It is used as a 'conditioning' treatment to get rid of the bone marrow and make room for the transplanted bone marrow cells, which can then produce healthy blood cells. It is given with another cancer medicine called fludarabine in adults and children requiring a bone marrow transplant. You should avoid drinking alcohol while having this treatment and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Various things can help you reduce tiredness and cope with it, for example, gentle exercise. However, always consult your doctor before doing any kind of exercise.

Use a moisturizer to get relief from rashes, and dry and itchy skin. Avoid direct sunlight, wear protective clothing, and use sunscreen (SPF of more than 15) whenever you step outdoors.
