Visudyne Injection is used to treat eye conditions such as wet form of macular degeneration.
Visudyne Injection is administered under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Do not self administer this injection. How Visudyne Powder for Injection works
Visudyne Injection accumulates in the abnormal blood vessels and, when stimulated by non-thermal red light in the presence of oxygen, produces highly reactive short-lived singlet oxygen and other reactive oxygen radicals, resulting in local damage to the endothelium and blockage of the vessels.
