How Alfuzosin + Tadalafil works
Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a noncancerous (nonmalignant) enlargement of the prostate gland. Alfuzosin + Tadalafil is a combination of two medications. Alfuzosin is an alpha blocker that works by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder to allow urine to flow more easily. Tadalafil improves the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia by an unknown mechanism. But, it is believed to work through inhibition of an enzyme called phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE 5).

- To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
- It may cause dizziness or blurred vision. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Do not use Alfuzosin + Tadalafil if you have recently taken nitrates (medicines used in angina or chest pain), if you have had a heart attack in the past 3 months, or stroke or heart failure in the past 6 months.
