How Cetirizine + Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Zinc + Menthol works

Cetirizine + Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Zinc + Menthol is a combination of four medicines: Cetirizine , Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide , Zinc and Menthol. Cetirizine is an antiallergic. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine) which triggers cough due to allergy. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Zinc is a nutritional supplement which releases zinc ions into the throat to reduce irritation. Menthol is produces a sensation of coolness and further relieves throat irritation.
