Doxycycline + Bromelain is a combination of two medicines: Doxycycline and Bromelain. Doxycycline is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Bromelain is an enzyme which makes the body produce substances that fight pain and swelling (inflammation).

- Doxycycline + Bromelain can be taken with or without food but at the same time every day.
- It is advisable to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water to overcome medicine side effects.
- Do not skip doses and finish the prescribed course, even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may increase your risk of further infection.
- Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as medicine can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
- Do not drink alcohol during or for 2-3 days after treatment with this medicine. You may develop nausea, vomiting, flushing and headache.
