What is HRCT Chest - Contrast?
Rheumatoid Factor (RF) Quantitative Test detects RF in the blood. RFs are produced by the immune system and attack healthy joints, glands, or other normal cells. RFs are often associated with several autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis and Sjogren's syndrome. You may need this test if you have symptoms such as joint pain, joint stiffness, joint swelling, fatigue & low grade fever.
What is HRCT Chest - Contrast used for?
- To assess the function of the lungs and the risk of development of diffuse lung disease
- To detect presence of any abnormal growth in the lungs
- To detect obstructions to airflow in the lungs
- To identify the location to perform lung biopsy if needed
