Pan-Fungal PCR test is for the rapid qualitative detection of all medically necessary fungi in the blood sample. This is a conventional PCR-based test. This PCR test can detect the presence of fungi in sterile site samples like blood/plasma/serum aids in reaching a diagnosis and enables starting anti-fungal therapy. Test results mention if fungal species are detected or not detected in the sample. This test does not provide the name of the fungal species detected in the sample.
