Racecadotril + Ofloxacin + Metronidazole is a combination of three medicines: Racecadotril + Ofloxacin + Metronidazole1, Racecadotril + Ofloxacin + Metronidazole2 and Racecadotril + Ofloxacin + Metronidazole3 which treat diarrhoea. Racecadotril + Ofloxacin + Metronidazole1 has an anti-secretory effect. It reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine which decreases fluid loss during diarrhoea. Racecadotril + Ofloxacin + Metronidazole2 is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Racecadotril + Ofloxacin + Metronidazole3 is also an antibiotic which kills other microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging the DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
