Brent LS

Brent LS Eye Drop is used to lower high pressure inside the eye. It is mainly prescribed for people with chronic open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension to reduce the risk of vision loss.

Brent LS Eye Drop should not be used by people allergic to brimonidine or any ingredients in the medicine. Brent LS Eye Drop is also not safe for infants and children under 2 years of age, or for people taking monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) medicines.

Brent LS Eye Drop is not safe for young children under 2 years of age. In children under 2 years, it can cause serious side effects such as slow heartbeat, breathing problems, and even unconsciousness. Children above 2 years, especially those weighing less than 20 kg, should only use Brent LS Eye Drop with very close medical supervision.

You should avoid touching the Brent LS Eye Drop tip to your eye or any surface to prevent contamination. Use the medicine with caution if you have heart disease, low blood pressure, depression, or circulation problems such as Raynaud’s disease.

Although uncommon, serious side effects of Brent LS Eye Drop may include allergic eye reactions, severe eye redness, eye swelling, or signs of hypersensitivity. Other effects like dizziness, extreme tiredness, or very low blood pressure may also occur. Seek medical help if you experience unusual or severe symptoms.

Accidental swallowing of Brent LS Eye Drop, especially by children, can be very dangerous. It may cause a slow heart rate, low blood pressure, extreme sleepiness, breathing problems, or coma. In such cases, emergency medical attention is required immediately.
