It is used to treat tuberculosis (TB) that has become resistant to other medicines that are used commonly for its management. Capreo 500mg Injection is used in combination with other anti-tuberculosis medicines when the primary agents (isoniazid, rifampicin, streptomycin and ethambutol) have been ineffective or cannot be used because of toxicity or the presence of resistant bacteria (Mycobacterium tuberculosis).
