How Ceffex SB Products work
Cefixime + Sulbactam is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime + Sulbactam1 and Cefixime + Sulbactam2. Cefixime + Sulbactam1 is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Cefixime + Sulbactam2 is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate Cefixime + Sulbactam1. Addition of Cefixime + Sulbactam2 reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefixime + Sulbactam1 against bacteria.
