Metronidazole + Diloxanide is a combination of two medicines: Metronidazole + Diloxanide1 and Metronidazole + Diloxanide2. Metronidazole + Diloxanide1 is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Metronidazole + Diloxanide2 is an amoebicide.
