Take Dobact Tablet as soon you remember it. However, do not take it if it's almost time for your next dose. Also, do not take an extra dose to make up for your missed dose.
Q. Can I stop taking Dobact Tablet when I feel better?
No, do not stop taking Dobact Tablet and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
Q. What if I don't get better after using Dobact Tablet?
Inform your doctor if you don't feel better after finishing the full course of treatment. Also, inform him if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.
Q. Can I drink milk while taking Dobact Tablet?
No, you should avoid using milk and milk products while taking Dobact Tablet. Consuming dairy products along with Dobact Tablet can decrease its absorption from the stomach, which may lead to inadequate affect of this medicine.
Q. Why it is harmful to drink alcohol while using Dobact Tablet?
Alcohol should be strictly avoided while taking Dobact Tablet and for at least 3 days after completely stopping the medicine. Drinking alcohol can cause an unpleasant reaction (Disulfuram reaction) with symptoms such as stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, headache, flushing or redness of the face.
