Evalon Cream contains a medicine called Estriol. Estriol is a form of female sex hormone, estrogen. It is used to treat vaginal problems (itching, dryness and irritation) caused due to lack of estrogen. It may also be used as a hormone replacement therapy in postmenopausal women.
Q. How to use Evalon Cream?
This type of cream or gel usually comes with an applicator and the directions to use. You must clean and dry the affected area before applying the cream. Use this medicine only as advised by your doctor.
Q. What if I forget to use Evalon Cream?
You may apply the missed dose as soon as you remember unless you are not 12 hours late. If you are more than 12 hours late, skip the missed dose and follow the usual dosing schedule.
Q. What are the common side effects of using Evalon Cream?
The side effects of using Evalon Cream are rare. However, initially, you may feel irritation or itching of the skin in or around the vagina, which usually gets better after a few weeks.
