How Flucort-C Products work

Ciclopirox + Fluocinolone acetonide is a combination of two medicines: Ciclopirox + Fluocinolone acetonide1 and Ciclopirox + Fluocinolone acetonide2 which treat skin infections. Ciclopirox + Fluocinolone acetonide1 works by stopping the growth of fungi on the skin by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Ciclopirox + Fluocinolone acetonide2 is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.
