Gufivor-O Tablet is a prescription medicine that belongs to a class of medicines known as antifungals. It is used to treat certain serious fungal infections in your blood and body such as aspergillosis, esophageal candidiasis, Scedosporium, Fusarium, and candidemia. Gufivor-O Tablet effectively relieves these infections in adults and children aged 2 years and above.

Gufivor-O Tablet is effective if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not stop taking it even if you see improvement in your condition. If you stop using Gufivor-O Tablet too early, the symptoms may return or worsen.
Q. What if I forget to take a dose of Gufivor-O Tablet?
If you have missed a dose of Gufivor-O Tablet, take it as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, take it in the regular schedule instead of taking the missed dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one as this may increase the chances of developing side effects.

Driving or anything requiring concentration must be avoided while taking Gufivor-O Tablet. This is because Gufivor-O Tablet may cause changes in your vision such as blurring or sensitivity to light. Moreover, Gufivor-O Tablet may make you sensitive to sunlight and increases the chances of getting a sunburn. If you get a sunburn, please contact your doctor immediately.
Q. How should Gufivor-O Tablet be stored?
Gufivor-O Tablet tablets or liquid form must be stored at a temperature of 59°F to 86°F (15°C to 30°C). Do not refrigerate or freeze. The liquid or suspension form should be thrown away (discarded) after 14 days. Gufivor-O Tablet must be stored in a tightly closed container. Any outdated (expired) medicine must be discarded. Gufivor-O Tablet must be kept out of reach of children to avoid misuse.
