How Monoguard-B Products work
Sertaconazole + Beclometasone is a combination of two medicines: Sertaconazole + Beclometasone1 and Sertaconazole + Beclometasone2, which treats skin infections. Sertaconazole + Beclometasone1 is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi on the skin by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Sertaconazole + Beclometasone2 is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy.
