How Mufix-H Products work

Halobetasol + Mupirocin is a combination of two medicines: Halobetasol + Mupirocin1 and Halobetasol + Mupirocin2 which treat skin infections. Halobetasol + Mupirocin1 is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Halobetasol + Mupirocin2 is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria that cause skin infections by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins necessary for survival of bacteria. Thus, it prevents the skin infection from spreading.
