Mupiban Ointment should not be used to treat infections in or near the eyes, nostrils, or mouth. If this medicine accidentally enters your eyes, wash your eyes thoroughly with water. In case you have tubes inserted in your body for the delivery of fluids or medicines (cannula), do not use this medicine to treat the skin near that area.
Q. What should prompt me to stop using Mupiban Ointment?
Wash off the medicine immediately if you get a raised and itchy rash, cough, shortness of breath, wheezing or difficulty breathing, fainting, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, throat, or other parts of the body. These may be signs of severe allergic reactions. You should immediately stop using Mupiban Ointment and consult your doctor. Though unlikely, if you get abdominal cramps and diarrhea, you should stop Mupiban Ointment immediately and consult your doctor.
