How Orasep-LA Products work

Lidocaine + Tannic Acid is a combination of two medicines: Lidocaine + Tannic Acid1 and Lidocaine + Tannic Acid2. Lidocaine + Tannic Acid1 is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases sensation of pain. Lidocaine + Tannic Acid2 is an astringent which works by forming a protective layer on the affected area while exerting antiviral and antibacterial effects.
