Side Effects of Predus are Muscle weakness, Irregular menstrual cycle, High blood pressure, Fluid retention, Sodium retention, Heart failure, Decreased potassium level in blood, Hypokalemic alkalosis, Loss of muscle mass, Steroid myopathy, Osteoporosis, Tendon rupture, Bone fracture, Peptic ulcer, Pancreatic inflammation, Abdominal distension, Ulcerative esophagitis, Impaired wound healing, Convulsion, Cushingoid syndrome, Growth retardation in children, Angioedema (swelling of deeper layers of skin), Carbohydrate intolerance, Latent diabetes mellitus, Decreased insulin level in blood, Increased intraocular pressure, Glaucoma, Negative nitrogen balance, Hypersensitivity, High white blood cell count, Slow heart rate, Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching and redness).

It is also helpful in treating autoimmune diseases (these diseases happen when your body’s immune system attacks the body itself and causes damage) and certain eye disorders.

Predus 16mg Tablet is effective if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Do not stop taking it even if you see improvement in your condition. If you stop using Predus 16mg Tablet too early, the symptoms may return or worsen.
