Betamethasone + Gentamicin + Tolnaftate + Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) + Chlorocresol1 is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Betamethasone + Gentamicin + Tolnaftate + Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) + Chlorocresol2 is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Betamethasone + Gentamicin + Tolnaftate + Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) + Chlorocresol3 is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Betamethasone + Gentamicin + Tolnaftate + Clioquinol (Iodochlorhydroxyquin) + Chlorocresol4 is an antibiotic with additional antifungal action. It works by preventing the growth and multiplication of the both bacteria and fungi.
