You should avoid potassium supplements or salt substitutes, unless advised by your doctor. If you experience any of such symptoms contact your doctor immediately and seek medical help.

If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is close to the time of your next dose, skip the missed one and take the next scheduled dose.
