How Tovid-D Products work

Tobramycin + Dexamethasone + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a combination of three medicines: Tobramycin + Dexamethasone + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose1, Tobramycin + Dexamethasone + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose2, and Tobramycin + Dexamethasone + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose3. Tobramycin + Dexamethasone + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose1 is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Tobramycin + Dexamethasone + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose2 is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye/ear red, swollen and itchy. Tobramycin + Dexamethasone + Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose3 is a lubricating formulation which moistens the eyes/ears.
