Common

Side Effects of Trivon are Dizziness, Headache, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Constipation, Dryness in mouth, Sedation, Feeling over excited, Blurred vision, Tremors.

Severe

Side Effects of Trivon are Anemia (low number of red blood cells), SIADH (water retention due to excessive ADH), Decreased appetite, Weight gain, Nystagmus (involuntary eye movement), Elevations of aminotransferases, Urinary incontinence, Impotence, Edema (swelling).

How Trivon Products work

Tranylcypromine is an antidepressant. Low levels of monoamines (chemical messenger) in the brain cause depression. Tranylcypromine increases the amount of monoamines by decreasing the activity of the enzyme (monoamine oxidase) that inhibits monoamines. This how it works to treat depression.
