How Varenya Products work
Ichthyol Pale contains Ichthyol Pale, which is the sodium salt of a pale sulfonated shale oil in an aqueous solution. It works by reducing the oil secretion by the oil glands present on the skin surface. It also has antimicrobial activity that prevents the growth of infectious microorganisms and treats skin infections too. Additionally, it has anti-inflammatory properties that treat irritation and itching in skin disorders.

- Varenya is prescribed for the treatment of skin blemishes, redness or itching associated with various skin disorders.
- Cover exposed skin or use a sunblock (SP 15 or higher) whenever you step outside in the sun following treatment with this medicine.
- Do not use perfumes, aftershave, deodorants, or other cosmetics and toiletries while using Varenya as they make your skin even more sensitive.
- Continue with the treatment as long as prescribed by your doctor. The most common reason for treatment failure is giving up too soon, thinking that the treatment is not working. If, however, your skin has not improved even after completing the prescribed time, consult your doctor.
