How Vasicon Products work
Naphazoline + Pheniramine is a combination of naphazoline and pheniramine. Naphazoline is a decongestant that narrows the swollen blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling). Pheniramine works as an antagonist to allergic symptoms resulting from inappropriate histamine release and reduces itching, edema, and redness in the affected eye.

Q. How many times should I use Vasicon Eye Drop?
Put 1 or 2 drops of Vasicon Eye Drop in the affected eye(s) up to 4 times daily. In case of any doubt always consult your doctor. Do not give it to children without consulting a doctor.
Q. What is the right way to use Vasicon Eye Drop?
Before using the Vasicon Eye Drop, wash your hands thoroughly. Shake the bottle and tilt your head back slightly. Pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper above the eye and squeeze a drop into this pocket. Close your eyes for 1 or 2 minutes. Do not touch the tip of the eye dropper or place it directly on your eye. A contaminated dropper can infect your eye, which could lead to serious vision problems. Gently press your finger over the inside corner of your eye (over the eyelid) for about a minute. This helps prevent the drop from draining out of the eye. Repeat in your other eye if your doctor has told you to do this.

This eye drop may be used along with other eye drops if prescribed by your doctor. However, maintain a 10-15 minutes interval between both medications.

No, you should remove your contact lenses before instilling the Vasicon Eye Drop. You can re-insert the lenses 15 minutes after using the eye drop. Contact your doctor if there is any eye irritation that persists.

Yes, when you instil the eye drops for the first time, it can make your eyes watery and can cause a slight burning sensation. If this happens, it will subside quickly. Inform your doctor if the discomfort continues for a longer period.
Q. Is Vasicon Eye Drop safe to use for a long time?
Vasicon Eye Drop should not be used beyond the prescribed duration. Please talk to your doctor if you do not see any improvement in your symptoms. They may change the dose or probably prescribe a different medicine.
