Betahistine + Domperidone is a combination of two medicines: Betahistine + Domperidone1 and Betahistine + Domperidone2 which relieve symptoms of Ménière’s disease. Betahistine + Domperidone1 is a histamine analog which works by improving blood flow in the inner ear. This lowers the build-up of fluid pressure in the inner ear. Betahistine + Domperidone2 is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.
