How Volpime T Products work
Cefepime + Sulbactam is a combination of two medicines: Cefepime + Sulbactam1 and Cefepime + Sulbactam2. Cefepime + Sulbactam1 is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Cefepime + Sulbactam2 is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate cefepime. Addition of Cefepime + Sulbactam2 reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefepime + Sulbactam1 against bacteria.
