Sulphacetamide + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid + Sodium Chloride + Chlorbutol is a combination of five medicines: Sulphacetamide + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid + Sodium Chloride + Chlorbutol1, Sulphacetamide + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid + Sodium Chloride + Chlorbutol2, Sulphacetamide + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid + Sodium Chloride + Chlorbutol3 Sulphacetamide + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid + Sodium Chloride + Chlorbutol4 and Sulphacetamide + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid + Sodium Chloride + Chlorbutol5. Sulphacetamide + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid + Sodium Chloride + Chlorbutol1 is an antibiotic. It prevents the bacteria that cause eye infections from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial replication. Sulphacetamide + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid + Sodium Chloride + Chlorbutol2 and Sulphacetamide + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid + Sodium Chloride + Chlorbutol4 are antiseptics which treat bacterial infection in the eyes and relieve irritation. Sulphacetamide + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid + Sodium Chloride + Chlorbutol3 is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, watery eyes. Sulphacetamide + Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate + Chlorpheniramine Maleate + Boric Acid + Sodium Chloride + Chlorbutol5 is a purified salt solution. It cleanses the eye and reduces swelling.
