Information about D.A.V. Bhallatak Compound
D.A.V. Bhallatak Compound can be used as an aphrodisiac and rejuvenator. Bhallatak means the plant is very sharp like that spear. Semecarpus anacardium is commonly known as Bhallatak. Its nuts contain a variety of biologically active compounds such as bioflavonoids, phenolic compounds, bhilwonals, minerals, vitamins and amino acids, which might show various benefits for the body. The fruit and nut extract shows various activities like antiatherogenic, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, antimicrobial, antiarthritic, CNS stimulant, hypoglycemic, and anti-carcinogenic.
Ayurvedic medicine considers Semecarpus Anacardium to be a toxic plant. However, this hazardous plant is said to have anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritic, antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-carcinogenic, and hypoglycemic, properties, among other things. All of these functions are linked to phenolic chemicals, flavonoids, carbohydrates, alkaloids, steroids, and other components. Shodhana is a series of procedures used in Ayurveda to turn a toxic substance into a safe and therapeutically effective remedy. Shodhana increases yield, lowers phenolic and flavonoid content, and converts toxic urushiol to a harmless anacardol derivative, lowering the toxicity of Semecarpus anacardium (Bhallatak)nuts. Any poison, when administered correctly, can be a good solution. However, if used incorrectly, it can be poisonous. Toxic plants are exposed to shodhana sanskara, and the poisonous plants are given certain rasayana, yogvashi, and brihana attributes.
