Nitroderm TTS 10mg Transdermal Patch is a patch that you stick on your skin. It used to prevent heart-related chest pain (angina). The patch contains the medicine which is released from the patch and absorbed through the skin and into the blood vessels, so blood can flow more easily to the heart.
Nitroderm TTS 10mg Transdermal Patch should be used as advised by your doctor. Follow the instructions given by your doctor before using it carefully. Read the leaflet which comes with the medicine carefully to make sure you are getting it right. You can develop tolerance to this medicine over time, which means that the same dose becomes less effective. You have to stick to a really specific dosing schedule to prevent this from happening.
The most common side effect of this medicine include nausea, headache, flushing, nausea, itching, and reddening of skin after the patch has been taken off. Can I take sildenafil if I am taking Nitroderm TTS 10mg Transdermal Patch?
No, you should not take Nitroderm TTS 10mg Transdermal Patch if you have taken sildenafil. Taking these two medicines together may increase the risk of excessive fall in blood pressure, which is hazardous. Maintain a gap of at least 24 hours if you have to use Nitroderm TTS 10mg Transdermal Patch after taking sildenafil.
