Ranibizumab Uses
Ranibizumab is used for diabetic eye disease, cancer of colon and rectum, wet age-related macular degeneration, non-small cell lung cancer, Macular edema due to retinal vein occlusion, ovarian cancer, cancer of fallopian tube and kidney cancer.
How Ranibizumab works
Ranibizumab is a monoclonal antibody. It works in cancer by stopping the formation of blood vessels that bring oxygen and nutrients to cancerous cells. This may slow the growth and spread of cancer.

- It can increase the risk of bleeding. Inform your doctor if you notice any unusual bleeding or bleeding that doesn't stop easily.
- Your doctor may regularly check your blood pressure and levels of protein in your urine while you are on Ranibizumab.
