Side Effects of Celgem are Nausea, Vomiting, Breathlessness, Anemia (low number of red blood cells), Blood in urine, Headache, Fever, Diarrhea, Abnormal liver function tests, Myelosuppression, Rash, Muscle pain, Decreased appetite.

How Celgem Products work

Gemcitabine interferes with the growth of DNA and RNA of the cancer cells by substituting their building blocks. It prevents the cancer cells from growing and multiplying.
