How Flucoril Products work
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol is a combination of three medicines: Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol1, Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol2 and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol3 which relieve dry cough. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol1 is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol2 is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol3 is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It works by blocking the production of the chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that transmit pain signals and induce fever.
