Skin sensitivity has been observed in some patients while taking Utamide Tablet. Therefore, you should avoid direct sun exposure, sunlamps, and tanning beds. It is advised to use a sunscreen during treatment with Utamide Tablet.

No, Utamide Tablet is not a form of chemotherapy medicine, it is anti-androgen medicine. Androgens such as testosterone are natural male sex hormones. Utamide Tablet works by blocking the effect of androgens (testosterone) in order to stop the growth and spread of cancer cells.
